Let’s take a look at the ingredients we will use for these healthy dog treats:

Why are beets good for dogs?

Beets are packed with B vitamins, calcium, potassium, and iron which promote healthy skin and coat. Beets help to clean the blood by removing toxins from it, so beets can benefit your dog’s liver as well.

Why are bananas good for dogs?

Bananas are rich in potassium which is an important electrolyte that helps your dog maintain a healthy heart. Bananas also contain plenty of fiber to provide energy and can help regulate bowel movements, so they’re good for digestive health too!

Tazuna’s Favorite Beet Banana Dog Treats combine these two ingredients into one tasty treat with the same benefits as eating either beets or bananas alone on their own! These nutritious little bites will make your pet feel great while giving them just what they need- all without any unhealthy additives. Plus, this recipe only takes about 15 minutes to prepare at home.

Why are oats good for dogs?

Oats are great for both dogs and humans. They’re high in fiber, vitamins B and E, as well as antioxidants! For pets, these grains also contain essential minerals like calcium that help their bones grow strong too.

We don’t add food coloring to this recipe

That’s because we know that ingredients like beet and banana are naturally rich in color. We think it tastes better without the artificial flavorings, too! I know some people are into vibrant colors so I experimented and there was no color difference by using Wilton coloring gel.

Food coloring is bad for dogs anyway

Excessive food coloring can lead to the development of hyperactivity and attention deficit disorders. Who wants that in a pup?
